The data speed of the AT&T Connect application on the iPhone is derived from the network: either the mobile 3G network or WiFi. The data speed on WiFi is faster than the data speed on the mobile 3Gnetwork.

Troubleshooting

http://static.webex.com/clear.gifWhy doesn’t the “To connect your IPHONE to the Web conference” link on the email invitation or calendar meeting work?

The most common reason for this is that the AT&T Connect application isn’t installed on your iPhone. You can download the application from the iTunes App Store. Another possibility is that you are using Operating System (OS) V2, in which hyperlinks within a calendar meeting are not linkable. This was fixed by Apple in OS3.

I can join my conference, but keep getting disconnected. What should I do?

You should move to a location that has better network coverage.

The audio disconnected. How do I reconnect the audio?

Go to the Settings tab and tap on the Connect button. This will re-prompt the audio callback. If your company has not enabled the Call Me feature, you will be prompted with the dial-in numbers.

The AT&T Connect application closed. How should I reconnect?

If the iPhone application closed due to connection problems or switching to another application, you can easily rejoin the conference by tapping on the AT&TConnect icon on the iPhone home page.  If tapping on the AT&TConnect icon doesn’t reconnect you to the conference (because more than three minutes have passed since you were disconnected from the conference), you should go back to the email invitation or open the calendar meeting and click on the mobile entry link.

While I was in the conference, I answered an incoming call and got disconnected from the conference. Why is this and what should I do?

When answering an incoming call, the iPhone closes any other 3rd party application that is opened. To rejoin the conference, tap on the AT&TConnect icon on the iPhone home page. If tapping on the AT&TConnect icon does not reconnect you to the conference (because more than three minutes have passed since you were disconnected from the conference), you should go back to the email invitation or open the calendar meeting and click on the mobile entry link.

I live in the US and am now travelling abroad with my iPhone. I can’t connect to a conference. Why?

If you travel with your iPhone outside your country, you should turn Data Roaming in the iPhone settings page (tap on General, then Network) and verify with your mobile operator that you are allowed to access data and audio while travelling internationally. You will be charged with international data roaming rates, which can get expensive.
